We take great pride in the fact Fulda Schools have excelled academically since its opening. Our state test scores continue to rank in the top percentage of Minnesota Public Schools. We believe we have a strong professional staff that encourages our students to excel not only academically, but in the arts, activities, and in athletics. The teachers, staff, and administration work hard to provide high-quality educational opportunities for all students within a supportive environment. The Fulda Public Schools have a solid academic curriculum. In addition, students can pursue their individual interests through a complement of elective courses as well as participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities.

Each year we recognize and celebrate public education in America. I believe one of the greatest strengths of Public Education in the United States is the ability of our independent school districts to carry out activities that are community inspired and community focused.

Fulda Public Schools has begun the process of implementing our newly adopted five-year strategic plan, a plan that is community inspired and community focused. This strategic plan was developed last spring through the work of students, staff, community members and school administration. The process included Internal and External Surveys, along with Listening Sessions with community members, staff, and students. As a result of these activities four strategic plan focus areas were identified. These include Student Growth and Achievement; Student Support and Well-Being; Family and Community Engagement; and Effective Resource Management. Along with identifying focus areas a belief statements, a mission statement and a vision statement were developed.

The mission statement of Fulda Public Schools is, “Fostering critical thinkers to become responsible contributors and leaders in a rapidly changing world.”

“Engage, Educate, Empower. Every student, every day.” is the vision statement of Fulda Public Schools. This statement puts a focus directly on student achievement.
